Buying Seeds

So many seed companies with big prices.
Has anyone used Sannies seeds ? I have read good posts about them so i sent for some, they have some of the best prices i have ever seen. Let us know if any of you have used or heard of them.
Thanks, Aguri, Peace, Zap

Zap be careful buying from any seed company online, especially if they do not come in original breeders packaging. Attitude Seed bank has the best receiving shipment record and are one of the companies that has been around the longest. If there is a certain seed company you are looking at you can also see if that seed company is going to be at any Cannabis events and you can travel to that event and buy seeds direct, this is my favorite way to get seeds. Remember buying seeds online is like gambling, you might win and you might not, you have much better chances of winning if you get the seed straight from the breeder, or even if your favorite dispensary sales seeds that is better than online gambling.

I have received 100% from attitude. Every time 100% germination success but sometimes the genetics might not be what they are suppose to be. meaning say you ordered 5 different strains from different breeders on there site one strain might not stand up to what the strain description says. Its a small gamble but worth it to end up with a couple of killer ones. But as Brave says be careful because there is a lot of bullshit sites.

High seed people,
When i lived in Italy i bought from attitude all the time but the seeds never looked like everyone says they should, fat dark some stripes. I reviewed seed banks and came across sannies who got great reviews so i tried them. They have the best prices i have ever seen and a good collection of strains. So i sent $ but forgot the zip, my order got there in 4 business days and has been shipped.I will let you know what i think when i receive them. This is the first time i have trusted ordering from the Netherlands, i know for some time you couldn’t trust ordering from there i am glad things have changed. Every time i checked Buds & roses they are out of seeds? How do i buy those seeds that you all get ? I can not afford to travel to an event but i would love to more than you know, it would be heaven for me.If anyone can clue me in when i can get some of the seed you have please let me know i would appreciate it very much.
Peace, Aguri, Zap

Rare dankness supposesly uses puresativa.com as their distributor. I wish I knew if I could trust that since I am currently growing their scotts og and wish to try more of their genetics. They also stock a bunch of other awesome breeders seeds that I would love to try. Let me know if anyone has had any luck with puresativa. Or if anyone knows where to get rare dankness seeds in colorado that would.be awesome. They are a colorado company so it would be awesome if I could find them here

I’m in Colorado and according to my knowledge true rare dankness seeds can only be bought in Colorado. The seeds from American breeders sold in other countries except maybe Canada, but those are actually offspring from the original seeds. From what I know, they ship strains over by seed, then attitude or seed banks breed and sell as that seed company. Otherwise its really to risky to ship 1000’s of seeds to Europe just so they can send back here. The BEST genes I have are from Canadian breeders and banks.

Update on Sannies seeds, they looked great and germinated faster and bigger than any others i have had. I bought the OG kush 5 but all my plants look great.
Peace,Aguri, Zap

Hadn’t heard of Sannies seeds before.. they look pretty decent..

Been planning on doing some OG kush for a while now myself, i think il take the plunge. I found this website by the way that lists most of the best seed banks online if anybody else wants to see it

so does this mean…..rare dankness seeds sold from attitude or seedsman…..are not as good as ones bought in Colorado…….how can a person get real rare dankness seeds if they don’t live in colorado

I’m not even sure if rare dank seeds are good. I have never really had any good samples from there flowers. But no that’s not what that means. People do not understand cannabis genetics at all and these seed companies know it and take full advantage of it. Most these knew seed companies have crap genes because they are crossing the generation with the wrong generation causing weaker genetics. When you buy a seed unless it like a s2, s3 or a f3 or f4 you are going to get great differences between each seed. Out of 10 seeds of a strain you will have 10 plants that are completely differ with some of same characteristics. I have been breeding my own genetics for 15 years and if you want genetics go to the classic breeders who have been around for at last 10+ years. These new strains are just combinations of the classics. Just like most the so called “og” are far from the original and don’t even have it in them.

I suggest driving or flying to colorado to get real seeds. The seeds that attitude and such have are real, they are just breed by them. It’s like when I buy a new genetic line, I grow out all seeds of it and breed them together making 100’s of that gene. So even though I have personally breed them, they are still 100% that gene seed from that company in a sense. It’s the same as rare darkness growing out genes and breeding. No matter what your getting your genes there are just not first round of breeding.

All of my jordan of the island strains beat rare dank any day of the week. You want dank, get seeds from canada breeders. The west coast breeders are really only working with very few killer strains. Which can be counted on one hand.

Also, colorado is not known for strong or power genetics. They have a bunch of bud here buts it’s mostly mediocre.

When I buy from Attitude I take the gamble and get them in the original breeder packs. Seems unlikely that the Breeding companies are allowing Attitude to print their packaging.

Back when I used to get them removed from the breeders packs and sent (with insurance), the seeds always looked small and didn’t germinate well.

I asked this question on another part of the forum, want to see if i can get additional feedback here, as this looks to be a more active and recent post.

I have a question about Feminized vs. Regular seeds. I am wondering if feminized seeds can still reach the full potential of he strain that you can get from regular seeds. I know feminized can have a tendency to hermie, etc. But I am interested in growing only the BEST clean medicine, and I want to know if I can achieve that with feminized seeds, or if i should switch to regular seeds. I have had great success with GHS Super Lemon Haze and Barneys Farm Critical Kush, both Feminized, and just want to know if i can take it to another level by going with regular seeds. So basically i guess what i am asking is this: Does the process of getting feminized seeds hurt the genetic potential of that strain?

I would also like to know that. I purchased feminized seeds avoid hermaphroditing because I want a solid mother. However I understand the question your asking and would love to hear from someone with enough experience to answer it. 👍

in order for seeds to come in breeder packs, all a company has to do is ship the original seeds along with thousands of empty seed packs, then attitude fills orders and seed packs after they have breed the genetics. there is nothing wrong with it per say. its just not advertised because of obvious reasons. its no different than your buddy getting a 10 pack and breeding them and then giving you some. its the real genes from the offspring. that leads to other issues as well because only certain types of breeding makes a plant better or stronger. other types of breeding can waken the genes.

as far as feminized seeds. they are generally weaker, hermaphroditic and they are not 100% feminized. never get fem seeds. if you want female seeds read my post on how and what create them. i promise you if you take 10 feminized seeds and sprout on a heat mat there will be at least one male typically and or 40%+ hermie. if a heating mat is not used you will still end up with males and herms just maybe not as much, but you can almost alway bet on some male bananas popping out. as far as a strong line in fem seeds it is possible with a s3 or s4 and the female has to be a natural female and stressed to produce female flowers or ripen late to produce pollen. sex of plants are determined first three weeks of life not from pollen used. pollen can help with female fertility but not proven. yield will generally be smaller with feminized sees along with vigor. there are the diamond in the ruffs that are great but its far a few between.

regular seeds all the way no questions asked. the market is so flooded with crap, just go with the popular strains from 15-20 years ago. there are only handful of breeders in cali that sell good stuff. canada has some of the best strains. colorado you can pass on unless its a private breeder. the europe stuff is usually a pleaser since thats where the classics come from usually.

Jurassic Haze Seeds

Jurassic Haze was just featured in the March 2013 issue of High Times magazine where it was hailed as one of the “highest yielding Sativas on the planet” by Danny Danko of High Times. It’s a Sativa dominant strain and comes from second generation back-cross to the Strawberry Cough from the Cherry Lopez. Her father is Adonai Kush, an extremely rare Russian Kush cross. This gives her an earthy, Kushy undertone, with the fruity flavors of Strawberry Cough.

Jurassic Haze is currently available in very limited quantities and only at Buds and Roses Collective, Los Angeles.

Strawberry Cough Seeds

In the futuristic sci-fi flick Children of Men, Jasper, an old hippy played by Michael Caine, offers his friend Miriam a joint.

Jasper: Taste that.

[Miriam takes the joint and inhales]

Jasper: Now, cough!

About Strawberry Cough Seeds

Background

The Strawberry Cough strain story is undoubtedly a unique one, closely related as it is to famed cannabis cultivator Kyle Kushman.

For years, legend had it that Kushman created Strawberry Cough seeds. In reality, the real breeder goes unknown to this day.

However, Kushman recently went on the record to clear up the backstory on how Strawberry Cough bud came to be. It all starts back in 1999…

You see, Kyle Kushman used to write for High Times magazine. His columns, reports, and strain reviews drew widespread acclaim and following. As such, from time to time, smaller growers would request a meet-up.

A friend of a friend reached out to Kushman and asked him to swing by his modest grow operation. After checking it out, Kushman left, but not before the mystery breeder handed him a clone.

Cryptically, the strain’s genetics were noted as a sativa haze crossed with an unknown indica grown next to strawberry fields.

Shortly after, Kushman planted his nose in the tiny clone and caught strong, unambiguous strawberries emanating forth. After growing the clone out, he realized that the plant was a sensation in more ways than one.

On the exhale, Strawberry Cough retained its crushed strawberry essence. Where the strain really shone, however, was in its magnifying glass-like, mind-clarifying effects. Kushman was smitten.

Not long after fate brought Strawberry Cough his way, Kushman moved across the country to California. As he drove the country’s length, he handed out Strawberry Cough clones to friends.

From there, the strain’s legend sprouted. So, while Kyle Kushman didn’t create Strawberry Cough seeds, he’s the man responsible for popularizing them and evangelizing the strain to this very day.

What makes Strawberry Cough seeds so unique in the grow room, and even more of a pleasure in the bowl?

You’ll have to grow them to find out — just below, find reliable grow tips for your Strawberry Cough seeds.

Growing Strawberry Cough Seeds

Planting Strawberry Cough seeds growing in your garden is literally one of the sweetest things you can do. When the strain flips to flowering, breezes of fresh berries will waft your way, giving you a preview of what’s to come.

Which Strawberry Cough seeds should you choose? Today, the strain’s become quite popular, leading to a bevy of choices. Despite the abundance of seed varieties, two options make the most sense.

  • Feminized Strawberry Cough seeds — If you want to take the most direct path to flowering, choose feminized Strawberry Cough seeds. These seeds are genetically pre-sorted so that you only get female plants in the garden. Having a feminized crop means you don’t have to bust out an anatomy of cannabis chart to identify potential males.
  • Regular Strawberry Cough seeds — While feminized seeds are pretty convenient, everything in life is a trade-off. What you lose with feminized seeds is genetic diversity. Regular Strawberry Cough seeds give you access to a broader possibility of phenotype outcomes. Some plants will be taller, others shorter — so, choose regular seeds if you’re getting into the finer points of growing cannabis.

Grow Difficulty:

Strawberry Cough seeds are easy to grow for all skill levels. Beginners will especially appreciate the plant’s low-maintenance characteristics.

Optimal Growing Conditions and Climate:

Kyle Kushman has long advocated organic cannabis cultivation, a method resulting in what he calls veganic cannabis.

Strawberry Cough seeds tend to do exceptionally well when grown without pesticides, treatments, or other synthetic growing aids. As such, Strawberry Cough plants do best in an organic soil mix and fed with all-natural nutrients.

Speaking of nutrients, feed your Strawberry Cough seeds with nitrogen well into the fourth week of flowering for the best results once harvest time rolls around.

Strawberry Cough plants tolerate heat well and like a semi-arid temperature range between 72°F and 85°F. For this reason, Strawberry Cough bud is best grown indoors where overnight temperatures can be regulated.

Flowering Time:

Strawberry Cough plants flower for 9 to 11 weeks. For the best buds, err on the side of 10 to 11 weeks.

Yield:

Enjoy heavy yields as Strawberry Cough buds dense up and weigh branches down. Indoor plants can yield 350 grams to 500 grams per square meter. Outdoor plants produce up to 600 grams per plant.

Height:

Some Strawberry Cough plants stretch up to 200% once thrown into the 12/12 light cycle. However, the result is usually a medium height plant shorter than most sativa-dominant varieties.

Resistance to Pests and Mold:

As a low-maintenance plant, Strawberry Cough seeds grow without significant disease issues. One thing to watch for is feeding — keep your plants well-stocked with nitrogen to fend off leaf necrosis during flowering.

Strain Description and Properties

The Appearance of Strawberry Cough Weed:

If Strawberry Cough bud is good enough for Kyle Kushman, then you had better believe it’s good enough for even the most discerning stoner.

These nugs will have you saying holy mother of frost upon feasting your eyes on them. An overload of milky-white trichomes saturate leaves ranging the full green-light spectrum.

If you decide to go the veganic Strawberry Cough route, you may even find brilliant waves of purple hidden behind the frost.

Strawberry Cough bud is incredibly dense, packing a deceiving amount of weight per nug. There are few pleasures in life on the level of mindfully grinding this nug and slowly spreading it across a rolling paper.

These nugs will have you saying holy mother of frost upon feasting your eyes on them. An overload of milky-white trichomes saturate leaves ranging the full green-light spectrum.

Dominant Cannabinoids Found in Strawberry Cough Seeds:

Strawberry Cough seeds are THC dominant and contain only trace amounts of CBD. The average THC concentration found in lab-tested samples is between 15% and 21% THC.

Dominant Terpenes Found in Strawberry Cough Seeds:

It’s safe to say that Strawberry Cough seeds are all about the terpenes. This terpinous strain is composed of a unique assemblage of common terpenes, resulting in standout flavors of freshly harvested berries right out of the bag.

  • Myrcene — As the chill terpene, myrcene is all about making you feel sedated, relaxed, and calm. However, when found in a sativa like Strawberry Cough, myrcene adds relaxation without taking away from energy levels. On the nose, myrcene brings herbal aromas.
  • Pinene — Found in an incredible variety of forest-dwelling plants, pinene has innate abilities to reduce feelings of stress while contributing uniquely organic scents of plant life.
  • Caryophyllene — As one of nature’s very own painkillers, caryophyllene reduces physical discomfort and adds spicy complexity to natural flavors.

Effects of Strawberry Cough Weed:

Switch your mind into a focused laser beam with unstoppable powers of focus, clarity, and motivation with a few puffs of Strawberry Cough bud.

Rather than turn you into a molding couch potato, smoking Strawberry Cough animates you and extends your ability to concentrate, create, and connect while feeling unambiguously relaxed.

Medical Properties of Strawberry Cough Seeds:

Tiny Strawberry Cough seeds contain immense medicinal value for stress, mood, and fatigue-related issues. Additionally, smoking Strawberry Cough can bring higher concentration levels to the fore, providing natural treatment for ADD and ADHD.

As a daytime medication, Strawberry Cough is also indicated for treating pain when retaining mental clarity is a must.

Strawberry Cough can help with the following:
